SWINBURNE ITS WEBSITE
Executive Group has recently given the go-ahead for the implementation of an IT Governance framework for Swinburne. IT Governance is about who makes decisions about IT, who has input, and who is accountable for implementing those decisions.
From 1st January 2008, the Educational Technology group, formerly of Academic Development and Support, will join forces with Information Technology Services.
You might be aware that for the last couple of years, Swinburne has been creating Business Process Models using a piece of software called ARIS. But ARIS also allows you to build other model types that describe, amongst other things, the underlying Information Systems that exist to support the business processes.
During the month of October, just over 9 million emails were addressed to GroupWise users, of this, 75% (6,750,000) were identified as spam. However a large portion of junk email still managed to find its way into our mailboxes.
