The lnformation Systems group manages projects to implement the University's business applications strategy.

Working closely with the business owners of the core systems, the group provides consulting and project management services in relation to strategic initiatives such as system selection and implementation, data conversion, migration, systems integration, enhancements, new development and evaluation of new technology

Information Systems also maintains and supports the University's core business applications on behalf of the business owners of the applications. These applications include:

  • ASCOL
  • Pandora Plus
  • Syllabus Plus
  • Dynix
  • Concept
  • Finance One.

Information Systems also provide restricted support for other non- core systems of the University

The responsibilities of this team includes analysis, planning and implementation of MIS functions, development of specifications, post-implementation reviews, product evaluations, database administration, business process re-engineering, user support and acceptance testing

The group also provides external consulting services.
