The Infrastructure group comprises:
Unix and Novell/Microsoft teams are responsible for the installation and maintenance of servers that host core IT services such as email, Swinburne web pages, HR, ASCOL, Finance1, File and Print, Oracle and many other applications.
Networks and Telecommunications team are responsible for all network connectivity infrastructure such as switches, routers, VPN's, Wireless Access Points, Cisco IP Phones, Voice Mail, Mobile Phones, PSTN Lines and Data Cabling.
IT Security team is responsible for managing various access control rules associated with the Firewall and Routers and ensuring that servers, applications and network appliances and are securely configured and monitored.
