HomeBeacon for Macintosh OSX 10.4
- HomeBeacon is a easy to use application that enables all Mac OS X users to access their Novell Home directory.
- HomeBeacon can be available to you in a convenient location such as the Dock.
- When you open HomeBeacon while connected to a Swinburne network, supplying your Novell ID and password will open your Novell Home directory window.
Note
- HomeBeacon will not currently run on Macintosh's new Leopard
operating system (Mac OS X 10.5).
Before you start
- Download HomeBeacon Application files
Installing HomeBeacon
- Select Go | Applications
- Resize Applications window (if required)
- Drag and drop the HomeBeacon icon from the
Desktop into the Applications window

- Drag and drop the HomeBeacon icon from the Applications window onto the Dock
- Exit out of the Applications window
- Drag and drop the HomeBeacon icon from the
desktop to the Dock trash can

Using HomeBeacon
- Select HomeBeacon icon from dock

- Enter SIMS username and Password
- Check Remember password in keychain
- Select OK
Exiting HomeBeacon
- Select eject symbol (beside your network drive
name)

- Exit folder window
