Oracle Login - Faculty of ICT Courses Only
To log into an Oracle database, you need an SQL client. SQLPlus is available in most computer labs, and iSQL*Plus can be accessed from anywhere on the web.
You will need the following information to log in:
Username
- Input a capital S then the first six digits of your student number. eg: S123456
Password
- Input your date of birth in the format DDMMYY. eg: 010180 (for 1st Jan 1980)
Connection Identifier
- Input the name of the database you want to access. This will be given to you by your lecturer.
