Submitting a Work Request
Anyone can submit a Work Request to the relevant Process Steward or Member of the Small Works Sub Group (SWSG).
The Work Request aims to clearly identify the problem or opportunity for improvement, the impact of the problem or potential benefit and the people that are affected by and have knowledge of the issue. It also allows for a solution to be proposed.
To submit a Work Request, simply download and complete the Work Request Form.
Once completed, submit the Work Request form to either the;
- Process Steward responsible for the student administration process affected (refer to Process Stewards Group), or
- Small Works Sub Group member representing the organisational area affected (refer to Small Works Sub Group).
If you are unsure which Process Steward or SWSG Member to notify, please email the Manager, Systems and Training (systemsandtraining@swin.edu.au) or the Information System Development Group Manager, Robin Schmitt (rschmitt@swin.edu.au).
On receipt, the relevant Process Steward or member of the Small Work Sub-Group will review the work request and allocate a Overall Impact Rating and summarise the reason for this rating.
If a Process Steward is reviewing your request, once they have completed their review, they will send it to a Small Works Sub-Group Member.
The Small Works Sub-Group Member will table it at the next Small Works Sub Group meeting for prioritisation. For information on subsequent activities, please refer to the ISDG Development Lifecycle.
For information on tracking the progress of your Work Request, please refer to Tracking a Work Request.
